Al Stine, TWSA-ASMA
Al Stine, a multi talented artist, worked from many easels. He began his career after graduating from the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and studied at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago. He was a freelance illustrator for many years (including cartoons for Playboy Magazine), eventually earning a reputation as a foremost water colorist and oil painter.
Al was a past president of the Artist Guild of Chicago, a signature member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, the American Society of Marine Artists and the Whiskey Painters of America.
Al traveled the world mentoring students and judging shows. He taught classes in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Spain. That success and his many published works and instructional DVDs made him a sought after artist. His paintings hang in corporate and private collections around the world. Al’s works can be viewed and purchased year round at the studio in Anderson, SC. Contact Liz Stine at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
